Pizza Anyone??

I recall not too long ago picking up a boyfriend/girlfriend couple.  Or, at least, that is what they seemed to be.  He sat up front and she sat in back. They had a gloriously scented box of pizza with them, which to my knowledge was half-eaten already.  Yay for leftovers!
As we drove to their destination, they talked about things that now cannot be completely remembered.  They were both drunk, but that was fine.  We were all having fun.  During the course of our conversation, I noted how delicious their pizza smelled and asked from where it had come.  They told me and offered me a slice.  Well, that was going to be a bit difficult as I was driving, but she insisted that I taste this pepperoni pizza.  So, as I was driving she held a slice up to the right side of my face and while I was at a red light, I took a large bite.
It tasted so good.  I could not really when I had pizza that yummy.  Another block went by and she held up the slice again. Dangerous though it might have been (but it wasn't really because traffic was light) I turned my head for a moment and snagged another bit.
We first dropped off the man at his house.  She was going to another destination.  After he had gone, she jumped up front with the pizza.  On the way to her house, she told me the story of what was really going on between the two of them.  I won't repeat it here because it really wasn't any of my business in the first place, but it was a shocker for sure!
We finally made it to her house.  Before she left, she offered me the rest of the delicious pizza.  I firmly believe that declining offered food is an insult, so I graciously took the box and left after saying goodbyes and wondered what the heck I was going to do with the rest of the pizza.  It was a busy night and I couldn't very well have pizza smelling u my car.  I took a few more bites then sadly I had to discard the rest.
